The drum sticks feel just like traditional drum sticks. There are no electronics on the sticks, just a reflective ball at the tip. The ball is feather light, so you canāt feel the difference. You wear a pair of reflectors on your feet to play the pedals.
Aerodrums comes with a high speed motion sensor. It captures the movement of your stick and foot reflectors into the Aerodrums software. And it does this fast enough that you donāt feel any delay while drumming. The sensor plugs into your computer via USB.
We know itās a bold claim to say that Aerodrums plays just like a drum set: It will never be possible for digital drums to feel exactly like an acoustic set. But we say that because the layout and the music you can play are the same.
